LATE NIGHT CONCERTS with TENDER MATTER
The Waiting Room: Danielle Pamp & Bogland

12, a solo piece for violin, investigates drones and microtones while testing limits of attention and endurance. A seemingly endless glissando is only interrupted by the player returning over and over again to the same double drone. The piece exposes the audience to an inescapable sense of discomfort by keeping it powerlessly confined by repetition and entrapped between uncanny micro intervals that defy codes of western music composition.

Bogland binds together solo and ensemble pieces by musician and artist Tony Wagner. Breaching the shores of new classical, ambient and drone, Bogland builds immersive ambiences and explores the wide ranges of sound and emotionality with an experimental approach.
